What do I do if I’m having issues with capturing good photos with the camera?
With all portable cameras, there is an alignment technique that requires practice before being able to take high-quality retinal images. If you’ve never used a portable retina camera before, it may require practice with about 10 patients (or coworkers) before you become comfortable with the camera. We offer a basic tutorial on the alignment technique for VIVA available on our support page to help accelerate the learning process. If you need additional support or suspect that image alignment is not an issue and that your VIVA needs servicing, please email
support@volk.com for assistance.
